Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you I am all about cooking and eating.
Growing up in Australia, I still recall making mud pies in any little place I could find to call a kitchen and the the very day I was given my first cookbook called “Delicious Desserts” age 7.
I was forever cooking up a storm in our kitchen at home. My Mum loathed cooking, so it worked well, other than the mess I created!
As a result we never had any real baking ingredients in the cupboard, so Mum said I could buy whatever I like to do my baking as long as I did the weekly shop for her at the same time. It was a good deal on both sides. She simply used to pin some money in my jeans pocket and drop me at the supermarket. You can just imagine the look on the cashier’s face when 9 year old came through the checkout with a full trolley of food (for our big family of 6) and all my baking kit and no parent in sight…. Two rings on the red phone outside the door and Mum was there to collet me. Those were the days…
My love of food has continued and over the last twenty years I have cooked and catered for thousands of people.
This work has taken me to many interesting places. Now living in the UK I have had the pleasure of running large scale events in Madame Tussauds and Dali to name but a few!
I now have my own family here and I cook everyday in some shape or form. Healthy options are high on my priority list, but also giving the kids an opportunity to try new flavours and cuisines is too.
Please enjoy the website and the journey with me….
